INDOOR ROWING
People love indoor ergo rowing for its accessibility, all-weather training, and ability to build both strength and fitness in a controlled environment.
Paignton Amateur Rowing Club is well suited for indoor rowing with high-quality ergometers, structured training sessions, and the chance to row year-round regardless of coastal conditions.

WHAT IS ERGO ROWING?
Indoor rowing, or ergometer (erg) rowing, is rowing on a stationary machine that simulates the motion of rowing on water.
-
Endurance sessions focus on longer distances or timed efforts to build cardiovascular fitness, stamina, and consistent technique.
-
Sprints are short, high-intensity efforts designed to develop power, speed, and anaerobic capacity, often used for racing or interval training.
