Paignton Rowing Club would like to invite you to our Tribute Regatta to be held in Paignton on Saturday 21st July 2012.
There will be a BBQ and refreshments on the waterfront, ample parking in one of the multi storey car parks close to the sea front, and reserved spaces for trailers and some towing vehicles on the green behind the beach to enable easy loading and unloading. Boats should arrive in Paignton between 8.30am and 10.45am. There will be members of the club on hand to help launch your boat. The itinerary is as follows:
9.30 – 11.15am Registration – please register immediately on arrival.
11.15am – Umpires Meeting
11:30am – Cox’s Meeting ~
12:00 noon First race Mens A

Presentation of Trophies will be immediately after the last race of the day. If you won a Trophy last year can you please ensure it is returned, thank you. We hope that many of you will stay to take part in the non Tribute races, however ask that when each club replies they give us the name of one member willing to undertake umpiring duties for the non tribute races.
After the racing there will be music and dancing in our beer tent going on into the late evening.There are many good value B & Bs very close to the seafront and Regatta. (see list below), or just Bed at “Parkholm Hotel” - 01803 551504 run by one of our members!
